Welcome! We are pleased that you are visiting our website. We invite you to learn something about our church that will encourage you to visit us on Sunday morning. We would love to meet you and have you join us in fellowship. For over 100 years, the Mullins Presbyterian Church has been a strong gospel light in this community, faithfully proclaiming the life and peace that our Savior gives to all of those who trust in Him. Our congregation is strongly united in Christ. The friends you will meet here are warm, loving, and kind. We preach grace without apology, love without strings attached, and a life without end through faith in Christ Jesus.
This is the place for you! We can’t wait to meet you in person. Please let us know how we can serve you!
What to Expect for Worship
There are many appropriate adjectives that could be used to describe our worship. Some of those include traditional, historic, confessional, reformed, covenantal, etc. If these words have little meaning to you, don’t worry. All you need to know is that in our worship, we strive to be Biblical, Christ-honoring, grace-centered, and gospel-driven. Our worship is designed to glorify God and to engage both the heart and the mind of the worshipper. We believe God speaks through His Word, and we are confident that as we gather around God’s Word for worship, the message we receive from Him will be timely, relevant, challenging, encouraging, uplifting, and life-altering.
As William Barclay once pointed out, true worship does not consist in merely going through the motions. Instead “genuine worship is when man, through his spirit, attains to friendship and intimacy with God.” When that happens, when we become friends with God through faith in Jesus Christ, the end result is worship!
