Dear Church Family,

I am writing you to let you know that our Session is aware of the sharply rising numbers of Covid cases in our area.  Many in our community and some in our church family have tested positive over the last few weeks, and the session feels compelled to do its part to help minimize the spread.  For that reason. after much prayer and discussion, the session has made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all in person services for the next two weeks.  To our knowledge, there has been NO known spread in the congregation.  Our members were most likely exposed elsewhere and at different times.

On Sunday, January 16 and 23, we will have an online only worship service which will be streamed on Facebook beginning at 11 am.  We will also provide a virtual Sunday School class at ten am via Zoom, which will be taught by Drew Jackson.  If you would like to participate in the Zoom Sunday School Class, please respond to this email or call the church office and we will send you the link.  Don’t be intimidated by the technology.  If you want to participate, we will walk you through the process and make sure everything is working properly prior to Sunday.  Zoom provides a way for us to interact with each other virtually.  Though we are not sitting in the same room, we can still see and hear each other.  It’s not perfect, but it is the next best thing!

On Wednesday, January 19, we will meet via Zoom for prayer meeting.  Again, if you would like to participate, please let us know and we will send the invitation and link.

The church office will remain open during the week.  If you have a need, a prayer request, or if you would like to stop by to drop off your offering, please feel free to do so.  You may also send your gift to the church @ P.O. Box 671 Mullins.  Online giving is also available through the website, www.mullinspres.com.

May God continue to bless you and our wonderful church family as we make our way through these days together.  Please be in prayer for all those in our area with Covid and flu.  Ask the Lord to bless our ministry and our church.
